Comfortable with a Chance of Showers

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Yesterday afternoon, pop up showers made an appearance within the SE corner. Those showers were light and quick falling. This morning, conditions started off amazingly. Skies were blue with very few clouds and the sun was able to shine quite brightly. Throughout the day, conditions have gotten a little more cloudy and for some cities showers have already taken place.

Throughout the rest of the afternoon and evening, rain showers will be moving along with the cloud coverage into the eastern and southern halves of the state. Some pockets of these showers today may produce thunder, lightning, and heavy rain. Keep your eyes on the sky today and if you hear a boom, go to your room (or at least head inside). The rainy system will be moving out during the overnight hours. This will leave us tomorrow and Thursday with partly cloudy skies and a slight breeze, as wind speeds stay in the teen to 20 mph range.

Temperatures today are slightly cooler than where we were with them yesterday. High temperatures today are ranging from the lower 50s to the lower 80s. Low temperatures tonight will range from the upper 20s to the upper 40s. And for high temperatures tomorrow, it will feel a lot like today and yesterday. Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower 50s to mid 80s. the next couple of days will feel like this, before our temperatures take a plunge on Friday.
