CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Cheyenne Aquatics Center will soon host a new attraction.

With the purchase of two new water inflatables, they’re welcoming a new experience that can’t be found elsewhere in the region.

“As far as I know, we are the only aquatic center or pool in Wyoming that currently has something at this level,” said Kyle Myers, the Aquatics Manager for the Center, ”Colorado I couldn’t find much either, the closest I found was in the Texas area.”

The goal of adding the inflatables is to bring additional revenue in and to add extra attractions and activities for the community

You must be eight years or older, or have passed a swim test to use it.

The aquatics center is planning to give their new attractions a weekly appearance.

“We’re going to host them on Friday nights, we’ll call them ‘Friday Night Inflatable Nights.’ We’ll have the kids come out, you do have to be eight or older or have passed a swim lesson, swim test excuse me, to use them. We’ll also have the far-side open for toddlers who can’t use it,” said Myers.

The aquatics center plans to debut the inflatables in a few weeks. They’re currently waiting for the attractions to be insured before putting them to use.
