#1 Campbell County stymies #4 Laramie’s comeback attempt, wins conference game 10-3

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - In the bottom of the 6th inning, Marisol Gomez lined a single up the middle. Paysen Witte scored and #4 Laramie trailed by just two. 5-3.

That would be as close as it would get in the late innings, though, for the Lady Plainsmen as #1 Campbell County scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning en route to a 10-3 conference victory. With the win, CC moved to (9-1) in East Conference play and Laramie dropped to (3-4).
