Cheyenne Sixers finish out the weekend strong with Sunday victory

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Following a 2-0 start to their weekend, Cheyenne Post Six opened the month of May against Rapid City’s Post 22.

Early success was found for Cheyenne, as they picked up four runs by the end of the first inning. Another three were tacked on by the end of the second inning, thanks in part to a Dom Lopez 2 run Home Run.

The pitching on display for Cheyenne played a key part, as well. Colter McAnelly picked up 10 strikeouts in four innings pitched without allowing a run.

The game ended 10-0, adding another victory in the early part of the season for the Sixers.
