CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Snow showers pushed through the central portion of the state early this morning. Those scattered snow showers are continuing to move through the state into the afternoon today. If we aren’t experiencing the snow, heavy cloud coverage has moved into the SE corner. Luckily, some of the sun is able to pass through the clouds, allowing our skies to not look as gloomy.
The chance of scattered snow showers will continue through this evening. The cloud coverage will lag behind once the snow clears out. Tomorrow through the morning, skies will be partly cloudy. Late afternoon/ early evening tomorrow, there will be a new system of rain showers that move their way into the SE corner. Some of the rain showers may transition into snow showers for the high elevated spots along the southern border. That system will quickly move back out, almost as fast as it moved in. Partly to mostly cloudy conditions will stick around overnight and into Sunday.
Temperatures today are warmer than they were yesterday. High temperatures today are ranging from the mid 20s to the mid 50s. Low temperatures tonight will range from the low tens to the mid and upper 20s. There will be a slight increase in temperatures tomorrow. Tomorrow’s high temperatures will range from the upper 30s to the upper 50s. Conditions over the weekend and next week are going to remain mild, comfortable, and warm.
