Wyoming Super Tag Raffle raises 1.6 million dollars

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Wyoming Game and fish recently announced the recipients of the 2022 Wyoming Super Tag Raffle.

This year, 124,602 tickets were sold which is nearly a 1.5% increase from last year. The Super Tag raffle raised 1.6 million dollars for conversation.

Revenue from the Super Tags goes towards supporting projects. These include the mule deer initiative, chronic wasting disease, wildlife management, and habitat work.

This is the first year the deadline was set for January 31st.

“Now with this new deadline we are open and ready for business again so people have a full 12 months to purchase those tickets for the next hunting opportunity, and we’re really looking forward to the continued success of this that really helps us do more on the ground projects for Game and Fish,” said Janet Milek, the Casper region Game and Fish Public Information Specialist.

This program has raised more than 9.2 million dollars since launching in 2013.

Super Tag Trifecta: James Kozisek, WY

Antelope: Lance Bethke, ID

Deer: Kevin Rembert, TX

Elk: Marius Maree, OK

Bighorn Sheep: Albert Betteridge, CT

Black bear: Tyler Hanson, IN

Gray wolf: Shane Campbell, OR

Moose: Justin Novinska, WI

Mountain goat: Carl D. Phillips, WA

Mountain lion: Hannah Lochard, AR

Wild bison: Keith Reau, WY
