CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
This morning started off on a chilly note. Temperatures at maximum this morning were in the lower 20s. The skies were very clear, with only very light clouds moving along the eastern border of the state. It was a great indication to what kind of day we were to expect.
Clear, sunny, and breezy conditions is really the main story of what to expect over the several days. Wind gusts in Cheyenne are expected to be around 30 mph, while in Casper 40 mph gusts. These conditions are going to continue through this evening and into the morning on Sunday. Sunday will introduce a few more clouds into our SE corner. Otherwise, it is a fairly boring weekend when it comes to our weather patterns.
Temperatures are continuing to warm up as the week continues into the weekend. High temperatures today are ranging from the 20s to the 40s. Tonight, again the coldest temperatures will be over in the west with negative degree temperatures in the NW corner. Low temperatures from there will range into the lower 30s. High temperatures tomorrow will continue increasing, bring back low 50 degree temperatures to the SE corner.
