CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne’s is setting up their 13th annual chili challenge.

The event is on Friday, January 28th, from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Little America Hotel & Resort.

“All funds raised from this event will go directly back to the boys and girls club. It just allows us to keep our doors open and serving kids for 10 dollars a year,” said Amanda Fiske, Director Resource Development for the Boys and Girls Club Cheyenne.

The event will have 31 competing teams, with a Red, White, or green chili theme.

A teen group from the boys & girls club will also be competing. They anticipate 500 folks will show up.

There will be silent auction baskets, snacks, and fun activities.

“Our teens are actually cooking a chili and they are going to be serving it tonight. I don’t know if they want to be to tell you guys, but the theme is sponge bob for them, so they’ll be dressed up and having a blast. So ya, just a fun time for all.” said Fiske.

Tickets will be sold at the door or at The Boys and Girls Club. The entrance costs 20 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for kids.
