CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Natrona County Mustangs had a chance to get back to a winning record on Friday, and they didn’t waste their opportunity against Cody.

After a slow start, the shots started falling for the Mustangs, and they led 26-23 at the half and surged in the second half to a 59-48 victory over the Broncs.

Colton Rogers helped carry Natrona County down the stretch with eight points in the fourth quarter and 11 total for the game.

Jackson Dutcher knocked down three triples and led the Mustangs with 17 points. Davis Parker added 14.

In the girls’ game, the Fillies faced off against the Fillies, but they were unable to snap a two-game losing streak coming in. Megan Hagar had some big buckets, but they fell 51-44.

Both teams will head to Riverton on Saturday to take on the Wolverines.
