CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Bison and Lady Bison added multiple championships to its young history. For instance, the cheer team won the all-girl, co-ed, and game day cheer state titles in 2021. That brought the team’s total number of championships to 14.

“You want a kid, when they leave the building, [first, to] have that piece of paper and, two, whatever walk of life they go into next, whether its the next level of education whether its workforce, military, whatever it is, you want them to be better,” said South Athletic Director Mark Puev. “And, when I say better, I want them to be a better person, better husband, better wife, better father, a better community person than what they would’ve been had they not gone through your program.”

Below are highlights from 2021:

Jared Price: 3x State Champion (200 Free, 500 Free, 200 Medley Relay)
