CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Shortly after 7:30am on December 21, 2021 Casper Police responded to a residence located on South Poplar Street due to a report of a disturbance. One of the neighbors called 911 in regards to a domestic dispute taking place at a neighboring home.

Officers set a perimeter around the residence and closed a section of South Poplar Street with help from the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office. Officers assisted an apparent victim in exiting the home. They then cleared the home, not finding the other involved individual and apparent suspect in this incident. The two involved individuals know each other.

The victim that was found was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

“Right now everything is under control, we don’t have any threat to the community at the moment so it appears to be a domestic violence incident so it’s an isolated incident so there’s no threat to the community,” said Lt. Jeremy Tremel.

At this time the investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
