Cocktails and Christmas event offers last minute Christmas shopping
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper Mountain Makers Market is hosting a holiday shopping event featuring 18 local vendors.
“Cocktails and Christmas is a last chance to shop, maybe spend time with your friends before Christmas next weekend. We have some really great vendors,” said Casper Mountain Makers Market founder Teresa Schumacker.
The event encourages shopping local in the lead-up to the holidays and highlights a variety of small businesses. The Wyoming Food for Thought Project will be co-hosting the event.
C85 bartenders are making specialty drinks for shoppers 21 and older. There will also be coffee from Copper Cup Coffee Company on the other end of the bar.
All of the vendors have donated items to be raffled, tickets can be bought for $5 per ticket or $20 for five tickets. All of the proceeds from the raffle will go to Wyoming Food for Thought.
“They’re one of my favorites, I worked for the school district for a long time, and I just loved seeing those food bags go home to the kiddos who might not have food over the weekend. I think what they do is amazing,” said Schumacker.
This is the second Makers Market event this year, more pop-up style events are being planned for 2022.
The Cocktails and Christmas events will be at 420 West 1st Street from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17 and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec, 18.
Winners from the raffles will be contacted by phone on Saturday.
