CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Black Tooth Brewing opened its Casper location at noon Dec. 17. This is the brewery’s third location in Wyoming, with one in Sheridan and another in Cheyenne.

“When you have tap rooms 320 miles apart, the middle of the state seems like an ideal spot to put a third one. This opportunity came up with the Nolan Project, it’s a really cool downtown Casper development, and we were approached 18 months... This space and being in downtown Casper has been a real pleasure to be at,” said Black Tooth Founder Tim Barnes.

Supply chain issues have left the Casper brewery without its brew system, but public demand kept the business opening its doors and selling extra beer brought down from Sheridan.

The brewery itself will not be serving food, but the Nolan has designed space for off-street parking for food trucks. The food trucks and other food vendors will have a rotating lineup in the brewery’s courtyard, offering a variety of food options.

“We always will have a rotating number of food trucks and food vendors that come through here. We’re not a restaurant, we have no intentions of being a restaurant, it’s more of an opportunity to have a community-oriented courtyard, and a place for folks to go and eat in downtown Casper,” said Barnes.

Brewing at the Casper location will begin in early 2022. The brewery will you a smaller, five-barrel system to create local craft beers. This is the sixth brewery to open in Casper.

“There’s been a number of great ones [breweries] here in Casper, so we want to be part of that community and part of that culture. It’s important to us to brew beer here in Casper, and the idea being that we’ll continue to produce some of our flagships at our production facility [in Sheridan] where it makes sense, and be more creative and experimental down here,” said Barnes.

The brewery will be open starting at noon every day. They will close at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and at 7 p.m. on Sundays.
