CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Bakeries across Casper are preparing to see more orders coming in during the holiday season. Christmas is Perkins second busiest time of year following Thanksgiving.

The bakery produces over 300 pies for this holiday compared to the five to six hundred they make during Thanksgiving. The restaurant brings in two to three additional bakers to ensure reservations are completed on time. Although Perkins is closed Christmas Day, staff says it is special to know they are playing a small part in someone’s holiday.

“We get excited during the holidays and then we just feel like we’re helping them out because everybody’s so busy during the holidays,” said Sara Jackson, the General Manager at Perkins in Casper.

This year, Perkins has an online ordering and delivery service to make getting your desserts even easier.
