CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

After a cold end to the week, the weekend continued to be impacted by the snowfall on major roadways. This morning started with chilly conditions and mostly clear skies. As the day has continued, more clouds have appeared in the SE corner. There has also been a consistent light breeze throughout the morning. Radar and satellite shows a broad area of cloud coverage and a few snow showers in the NW corner near Jackson.

Throughout the day today, clouds are going to be staying partly cloudy. The breeze will stay light in the most SE portion of the SE corner. In the center of the state, that is where it is going to be breeziest today and into tomorrow. Going into tomorrow, skies will be mostly sunny into the afternoon. Then the cloud coverage will increase slightly in the SE corner. Snow showers will slowly build with rain showers along the western border.

Since Friday of last week, temperatures have been warming up. Sunday’s warmer temperatures helped to get the road conditions started in a positive direction. Today, high temperatures are ranging from the 20s to the mid-50s. Tonight’s low temperatures will be in the 10s to 30s. Tomorrow will be just slightly warmer than today, with more 50 degree temperatures in the eastern half of the state. High temperatures tomorrow will again range from the 20s to the 50s. The warmer temperatures will continue to help with the road condition improvements. These first two days of the week will be the warmest before heading back into the cooler side of the seasonal temperatures.
