CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A new television and internet service provider will be expanding into Cheyenne.

Bluepeak held a meet and greet to introduce their services to the Capital City as they begin to expand their company into the city.

“Whenever we install fiber into the home, it’ll be true ‘if you buy 1 gig, 1 gig up, 1 gig down,’” said Desi Stoops, the Vice President of Marketing Development of Bluepeak.

The event was held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clay Pathfinder building on LCCC’;s campus, where community members could ask questions and learn more about what Bluepeak is.

Their services include fiber internet networks, with crews set to install the fiber in the near future.

The reason they chose to expand into Cheyenne is simple; they hope to provide overlooked cities with more attention and technological efficiency.

Stoops said, “we’re expanding into areas that have been overlooked, and we realize that citizens in Cheyenne deserve the same technology as citizens in New York City and L.A. and Chicago.”

Currently, their TV services are priced between $80-$120, and their WiFi will fall in the $50-$110 range.
