Getting A Cool Off Today
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
There were a few leftover clouds in the sky early this morning. As the day has continued into the afternoon, majority of the clouds have cleared out. There is lots of sun shining down today. The sun is helping to make it feel just a little bit warmer out there this afternoon. Radar and satellite shows some snow to our North, but nothing is impacted in Wyoming.
Clear skies and calm wind speeds will be continuing throughout the day today and into the overnight hours. During the overnight hours tonight, clouds will move into the SE corner from the North. These clouds will start our weekend off with partly cloudy conditions. The breeze will be calm for a few hours. Throughout the day tomorrow, cloud coverage will increase and the wind speeds will be picking back up. Cloudy and breezy conditions will be continuing through tomorrow night.
Smoke today is light, but is in a much broader area of the western half of the state. the smoke today is taking up the majority of the western half of Wyoming. This smoke today will continue through the late night hours. By tomorrow, this smoke will be clearing back out. If any smoke is left in state, it will stay very light and mostly in the northern half of the state.
After a week of recorder breaking warm temperatures, today is giving a better glimpse at how the weather should feel in Wyoming. High temperatures today are ranging from the 40s to the lower 60s. Tonight, low temperatures will be in the mid-teens to the mid-30s. Tomorrow will be just slightly warmer compared to today’s high temperatures. Tomorrow, high temperatures will range from the 40s back to the mid and upper 60s. Next week is when the seasonal temperatures are going to make a return, and it may even bring some snow back into the forecast.
