Tomorrow Will Be Cooling Off
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Clouds that began moving in yesterday evening have now brought partly to mostly cloudy skies across the SE corner. This afternoon is looking a little gloomy outside. Cloud coverage will be continuing throughout the day today.
A line of heavy clouds is going to be moving across the eastern half of the state this afternoon. This cloud coverage will be sticking around today. As the day heads into the evening, partly to mostly cloudy conditions will continue into the night. Into this evening, snow showers will begin building up in the NW corner. Early tomorrow morning, those snow showers will shift across the northern half of the state. Late into the morning, the snow will shift into the eastern half of the state and work its way out of the SE corner.
Winds are continuing to be breezy today! There is a broad area of the state today under High Wind Warnings. These warnings are estimated to expire between 3 and 5PM, depending on the location with the area of warning. The Fire Weather Warning is also still in place today. This warning is set to expire between 4 and 5PM, also dependent on location within the Fire Weather Warning boundaries.
High temperatures today are looking a lot like yesterday’s, though they may be slightly cooler. Overnight, there will be a cold air mass that pushes through the state. Low temperatures tonight will drop into the teens to 30s. By tomorrow, temperatures will not be able to heat up that much further. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the 20s to lower 40s. It is going to be quick cool down with a gradual warm up to comfortable temperatures by the end of the week.
