Holland & Hart law firm gifts CRMC ICU and COVID units socks
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Due to COVID-19, Holland & Hart had to cancel their Christmas open house for the second year in a row.
So, with the funds usually designated for that, they decided to pay it forward to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
“We had the idea to come over and really recognize the heroes in health care here at Cheyenne Medical Center, and the plan came together with us just buying socks,” said Isaac Sutphin, the Administrative Partner and Cheyenne’s Holland & Hart.
Holland & Hart spent roughly $5,000 on socks for the Cheyenne Regional staff, primarily for the ICU and COVID units of the hospital.
The law firm called this outreach “From Our Hart to Your Soles”.
To accompany this, they’ll be sending out cards to the community encouraging others to pay it forward during the holiday’s.
“It’s a great boost for employees. Not only physically because of the high-quality socks, but more importantly mentally, emotionally, to know the community’s still thinking about them,” said CRMC’s Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer Joanna Vilos.
Around 500 pairs of socks were given out during this as a thanks for all the medical team has done over these past 20 months.
