CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Clouds have continued today. The clouds in the sky are quite thick and gloomy, with not enough break in the sky to really allow the sun to peer through. This afternoon, there have also been scattered showers of rain and snow in certain parts of the state.

As the afternoon and evening continue, the clouds will keep moving into the SE corner of the state. The rain and snow showers will eventually dissipate. Throughout the day tomorrow, clouds will also begin fading out. The morning will have partly cloudy skies, but clear skies will appear closer to the evening hours. There will also be slightly breezy conditions in certain areas of the state. Wheatland will especially be quite breezy tomorrow.

By tomorrow afternoon, most of the clouds will have pushed out of the SE corner.

Smoke has mostly cleared out after the past couple of days of seeing light smoke throughout the southern half of Wyoming. As the day finishes today and we head into tomorrow, most of the state will be clear of smoke. There may be light pockets that pop up throughout the state, but it really will not be enough to cause harm. One of these light pockets will be just to the North of Casper tomorrow evening.

High temperatures were slightly cooler than those temperatures yesterday. High temperatures today are ranging from the upper 20s in Yellowstone NP to the lower 50s along the SE border. Tonight, the low temperatures are going to be in the teens and 20s. Most of the low temperatures within the teens are located in the western half of the state. Tomorrow’s temperatures are going to look a lot like today’s. High temperatures tomorrow are going to range between the 30s and lower 50s again along the SE border. Next week will start on a warmer note, for those of you who appreciate the warmer side of this season.
