CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Today is the beginning of the warm up after the cold front has passed through. Waking up this morning, most cities saw the coldest temperatures of the season so far with lots of teens around the region. Weather conditions are also returning to what we saw just before the front came through. Clouds are rolling back in from the west and the breezes are picking up across the central and southeastern regions of the state. There also looks to be some light smoke making it’s way through tomorrow. Overall, temperatures are expected to increase, cloud cover will come back, and so will the Wyoming wind. On the FutureCast, there just seems to be the chance for snow out to the far western mountain ranges. Beyond that, rain and precipitation chances for the rest of the state remain slim.

Gusts will be picking up overnight tonight as well as tomorrow. Nothing super strong like what we had earlier in the week, just some more breezy conditions with gusts getting up to around 40 MPH. It is certainly likely that there will be some highway and interstate delays with some partial closures around the mountains where winds can get even stronger.

Tonight, we will start to see the beginning of the warm up. Temperatures around the region will be ranging from the 20s to the 40s with mostly cloudy skies and windy. Tomorrow, temperatures continue to increase heading towards the weekend with highs ranging from 40s to the 60s. Breezy conditions will remain as well as that cloud cover. At least the temperatures are variable so whether you like the hot or cold, one day will be bound to have it.
