CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - If your broadband is slow or you live in a dead zone, Connect Wyoming has something that could help.

The Wyoming Business Council opened applications for the Wyoming program this week.

The program will target broadband expansion in unserved and under-served areas.

Folks can also check their “speed test map” of their area to know more about the coverage they are receiving.

Tel-Coms can also submit project proposals, and the deadline is Jan. 3rd.

“The broadband the reach is critical to residents, to business, to health, to education. It means everything. It’s like electricity,” said Ron Gullberg, Strategic Partners Director, Wyoming Business Council.

ARPA and Infrastructure money will help fund the project.
