Three Cheyenne East student-athletes sign college sports letters of intent

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Three East students made their college sports commitments official on Thursday afternoon. Below are their names, future colleges, and a quote about their college “fit”.

Darcy Jardine, North Dakota State College of Science Basketball

“For me it was really important with communication and there were...certain things that I really wanted in a program and at North Dakota, they checked all the right boxes and I really really enjoyed getting to know them and all their girls and I thought it was really fun.”

Kiara Kershaw, LCCC Soccer

“When I looked at LCCC, I looked at the team dynamic and how the players reacted to the coach and I thought that was super important.”

Kiera Walsh, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology Volleyball

“I was really trying to find somewhere that was truly built family and culture and that’s just kinda how they were and that’s definitely how they are they’re always school first and that’s the biggest thing.”
