CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Parents interested in learning better parenting skills have a new resource in town.

Kids Deserve Dads is working on expanding its resources. The founder of Kids deserves Dads thought there was a gap in men’s support in the community, family courts, and being a better father.

The organization works towards changing paternal rights in Wyoming, and they hold family events, offer online and monthly classes.

“There has been a shift in men’s desires to be more involved in their kids lives and having an impact. And having now a system through the courts that supports that, and helps to bridge that gap between both parents and raising their kids to be their best selves,” said Zac Martin, Executive Director, Kids deserve Dads.

Their current Father’s key behaviors workshop starts on December 7th, and the 24/7 Dad course runs quarterly.

A conscious parent course for Moms and Dads is currently in development.

“This course breaks down into what it means to be a man. A father’s role in his family, in his children, his own personal health‚ along with proper ways of communication, disciplining your children, breaking down overall children’s growth both mentally and physically,” said Michael Bean, Wyoming State Director, Kids deserve Dads.

The following classes start in December and January.
