CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Seeing the weather today is like deja vu. It’s okay because our conditions are almost identical to what we saw yesterday. Colder temperatures were around the state with many of the cities not being able to break the 50 degree mark. The strong wind gusts throughout the state helped to keep conditions cool as well. There are currently high wind warnings for the southeastern side of the state as the capital city saw gusts getting up to the 50 MPH mark. Surprisingly, there is an air quality alert for the northeastern region around Gillette. Good news is that the winds should help to push it out going into tomorrow afternoon and evening. Also some good news, the winds will be calming down slightly by tomorrow, but staying on the breezy side.

Temperatures will be slightly warmer tomorrow too reaching the lower 50s for much of the region. Moisture will also be moving out of the region but some clouds will be sticking around, only to be pushed through the state quickly with the strong wind gusts.

Tonight, temperatures and conditions will be very similar to what we saw last night. Some areas that had isolated showers will need be on the watch for some patchy ice. Slight snowfall and flurries are possible, but nothing significant in terms of accumulation as it is still too early in the season and too warm. Mountainous regions are the only exception. Tomorrow, slightly warmer across the state but the wind will be sticking around for the eastern and southern areas. Gusts will be calmer than what we saw today but still on the breezy side.
