CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper Children’s Theatre is opening up their first show of the season this weekend. Cast members are “getting their heads in the game” with their performance of High School Musical Jr.

This is the first show Casper Children’s Theatre will see at their new location. Students rehearsed three days a week for many months to prepare for the show. Many cast members have grown up performing with the Casper Children’s Theatre and say it has allowed for meaningful connections while doing something they love.

“A lot of our cast-mates are really close. We’re all really good friends so that’s been nice. The whole show has been really fun to do and the directors are great. It’s been a really fun experience,” said Emma Doherty, who is portraying Sharpay Evans in the show.

The show runs the new two weekends starting at 7 PM on November 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th. It starts at 2 PM November 14th and November 21st.
