All-State Volleyball honors revealed

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - State volleyball champions were crowned in Casper over the weekend, and now, the best of the best individuals have been recognized from all four classifications.

All-state volleyball honors were announced earlier this week.

Laramie’s Alexis Stucky and Lander’s Demi Stauffenberg were officially marked as all-state recipients for all four years of their high school careers.

In addition to Alexis, her sister Maddy received all-state recognition for the second consecutive season. Anna Gatlin and Taylor Tyser, teammates of the Stucky sisters, also received all-state honors for the Lady Plainsmen.

From Cheyenne, East’s Elysiana Fonseca and Boden Liljedahl both received all-state volleyball honors for the second consecutive season.

Several athletes from Casper’s high schools cracked the list. Kelly Walsh’s Abi Milby and Peyton Carruth are among the back-to-back all-state honorees and so is Natrona County’s Megan Hagar.

Trojan Cydney Eskew and Fillies Alesha Lane and Erin Weibel earned their first all-state volleyball nods.

At the 3A level, Burns teammates Rylee Ward and Emma Norris were recognized. Douglas’ Allie Olsen also made her first all-state volleyball appearance.

Glenrock had a pair of all-state honorees, Adelaide Williams, her second consecutive, and Sylar Hartford. Pine Bluffs’ Jaden Shelit also received her second straight all-state volleyball honors at the 2A level.

Kaycee, the 1A State Champion, had two of its players recognized. Both Bindi Hill and Sierra Kilts cracked all-state for the second straight year.

Southeast also had two players recognized. Brenna Herring and Jordan Stoddard, who made it for the second year in a row, were all-state.

Congratulations to all of this year’s volleyball players and their accomplishments.
