Another Drop In Temperatures
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Clouds have continued pushing through the state this morning. Clouds from yesterday on finishing the push out of state, while the second round of clouds is beginning to build along the western border. Along with the clouds in the West, rain and snow showers can be seen on the radar within the clouds coverage.
The second round of clouds will make its way to the western border this afternoon. The clouds will keep filing in, and will reach the eastern border. This will keep skies in the southeastern border mostly cloudy throughout the evening tonight. Overnight, rain showers will split off from the snow showers and will continue towards the center of the state. Tomorrow morning, rain and snow showers will continue in the northeastern corner, as the rest of the system pushes to the SE.
Today, the state is free of any smoke conditions. By tomorrow afternoon, light smoke will return to the center of the western half of Wyoming. That light smoke will also be along the eastern border tomorrow afternoon. It will then continue to funnel smoke into the northern border of Wyoming through Thursday morning.
Temperatures are comfortable today. They are not too cold or too warm. Across the state, high temperatures are ranging from the 30s in the NW corner to the lower 60s in the SE corner. Tonight, low temperatures will drop in the range of 20s to lower 40s, once again. With this new frontal system moving through, high temperatures tomorrow will be cooler. High temperatures tomorrow will be in the 30s and 40s. Get those jackets ready!
