CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Natrona County School District is hiring community members who are looking for flexible jobs like substitute bus drivers, office staff and teachers.

Marie Puryear, the NCSD Human Resources Director, said the district is always looking for new people. “If there are any stay-at-home parents out there that would like to have a similar schedule as their student this is for them,” Puryear said. NCSD reports the amount of COVID-19 cases in schools biweekly. Officials are reporting that the cases are going down and subs are needed for other reasons than COVID-19.

“Sometimes people are sick and sometimes they’ve got an annual or personal leave. Sometimes they have a planned surgery and there are lots of different reasons we need subs,” Puryear said.

Puryear adds helping out in a classroom and subbing is a good opportunity to help out the community and the school district.
