CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -The Kiwanis Club of Casper is hosting their annual Coats for Kids Drive. The organization has been hosting this coat drive for over 10 years.

There are several drop off locations around Casper for those wishing to donate to the drive including Hilltop Banks, First Interstate Banks, Platte Valley Banks, Cadillac Cowgirl, the Casper Humane Society, and more. The Kiwanis Club is looking for good quality coats and winter gear. They will be collecting donations until Novmber 30th.

91 coats were given out on November 6th.

“Kids of Casper need coats when it’s cold out, when it’s windy, when they’re going out and playing in the yard, in the parking lot, wherever they’re playing, and it’s important to us to provide that for them. It’s a completely free service and we love doing it every year,” said Darci Andersson, a Kiwanis member.

The Kiwanis Club will be back at the Salvation Army Hope Center on November 20th and December 4th to continue the coat drive.
