CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Girls on the Run Wyoming is nearing the end of another successful program.

“It is all a wonderful celebration at the end with a 5K and that helps them to create goals throughout this ten week program that they have been training for,” said Executive Director, Cindy Bradley.

The 5K takes place on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 9 a.m. at Laramie County Community College. Whether you want to run, walk, or simply cheer on the girls, the run is open to the public. Registration begins at 8.

To participate in the 5K, adults cost $30 and youth under 15 years old are $25. Members and coaches of the GOTR program are free.

Donations to the program can be made online. Enrollment is open between each cycle, parents can refer to the GOTR Wyoming website for more information on how to get register.
