Warming Back Up
3 November 2021
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Today we started to see the return of those more seasonable temperatures and conditions across the Cowboy State. A lot of the clouds began moving out and the temperatures starting warming up. Around the region, we saw high temperatures running from the 40s to the 60s across the state. Conditions like this are expected to continue going towards the end of the week as temperatures will continue rising due to the position of the Jetstream. On our Futurecast, there is another cold front on the way from the Pacific Northwest, but don’t worry, this one plans to die out once it reaches the state.
As a result, temperatures will stay around the same and moisture from the system will be minimal. The one thing it will bring back is that Wyoming wind. Breezy conditions will be the case starting tomorrow for the central regions and Friday for the rest of the state. While the temperatures continue to rise, the wind gusts will help make it feel a little bit cooler outside.
Tonight, most of the remaining cloud cover will move out and we will be left with clear skies. Temperatures are going to be ranging from the 20s to the 40s all around. Much fewer cities this time around will reach temperature below freezing. Tomorrow, skies will be relatively clear and temperatures will continue warming up with more cities seeing those 60s and some places even trying to hit those 70s. I know, 70s in November is pretty rare here. Heading into the later parts of the week, the wind will pick up helping to make it feel just that little bit cooler.
