Warming On Up
28 October 2021
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming wind stuck around for much of today, but with those warmer temperatures, it certainly felt more bearable. Gusts throughout the region still reached over 40 MPH in some cities. The southeast corner can still expect strong gusts going into the overnight before calming down for tomorrow. Casper can expect the breezy conditions to stick around until the weekend, but it certainly won’t be as bad as the last few days. Winds will pick up once again going into late Saturday and Sunday as a new frontal system moves through for Halloween.
If you enjoy those warmer temperatures, you are in luck because we will see those 60s back in the forecast for tomorrow. Conditions look to be really nice over the next few days with mostly clear skies, a nice breeze, and warmer temperatures. Enjoy it while you can though because change is on the horizon. A cold front will be moving through bringing much cooler temperatures and the chance for snow on Halloween and Monday. It is still too early for the models to give any information on accumulation, but I will post those on social media as soon as they are released. Until then, skies look to be nice and clear for the next few days with some clouds beginning to roll in the northern regions of the state.
Tonight, temperatures will be a little bit warmer than we typically see this time of year, but the skies should be clear all around. Tomorrow, warmer temperatures are back with lots of 60s in the forecast and mostly clear skies. Expect the winds to pick up in the central regions, but nothing we can’t handle here in Wyoming. We will still continue to track this new system and bring you some snow estimates for the holiday as soon as we get them in.
