CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - For their final match of the fall, the University of Wyoming Women’s Tennis Team will head north and play a home match in Casper. The Cowgirls will meet in the middle in the Oil City to take on Montana State.

UW Head Coach Dean Clower said it’s good for his program and players to get out and see other parts of Wyoming. “It’s good for our team to get out to Casper, so those fans get a chance to see our team,” said Clower. “Our team gets a chance to meet and greet new people and spread the word about Wyoming tennis.”

The match will be hosted by 307 Tennis Club, and admission is free. Clower also wanted to remind people that this isn’t tennis like you see at Wimbledon.

“This is college tennis. Let’s get wild. Let’s make it an atmosphere. The last time we went to Casper, the Casper community, they got used to the college atmosphere, and I think they liked it.”

First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
