Heading Towards A Cooler Weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Beautiful clear skies today. The sun has been out and about all day. Temperatures have also felt quite comfortable too. There are a few light clouds brushing the northern border, but nothing significant to talk about.

Tomorrow, is when the skies begin to change. Clear conditions will continue throughout the night, but tomorrow brings clouds. These clouds will move in from the northwest and push into Wyoming through to the southeast. This system will also bring a few showers and snow chances to the northern half of the state. These rain and snow chances will continue into Sunday and Monday for the southeastern corner.

Smoke was light and along the eastern border yesterday, but has now cleared out. Smoke will stay clear through the day today. Light pockets of smoke will be throughout the state tomorrow.

High temperatures today were comfortably in the 50, 60, and 70s. The light breeze also helped to make the outside feel very nice. Tonight, low temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s. Tomorrow, the state will have a split in temperatures. The northern half of the state will be in the 40s. The southern half of Wyoming will be in the 50s. Temperatures will continue dropping on Sunday and Monday, along with the snow potential in the southeast.
