Treasure Island PAA reopens following construction
SARATOGA, Wyo. (Release) - The Treasure Island Public Access Area (PAA) south of Saratoga is again open for use following a construction project to improve the property for recreation.
Enhancements were made to the boat ramp to improve safety at the launch site during low water flows, and for boats floating past the area during high water flows. The project also included improvements to the parking lot to allow more vehicles and better traffic flow.
“We appreciate the cooperation from the public as we completed this project,” said Robin Kepple, Game and Fish Department information specialist for the Laramie Region. “Boaters and anglers should enjoy the safety features of the improved boat ramp and the additional space in the parking lot.”
