Laramie County School District 1 collecting survey data for new strategic plan
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - LCSD1 recently released a survey to the public aimed to help create their new strategic plan.
The poll closed on October 22nd, meaning results appear to be coming in the near future.
“Right now, we’re looking at a 100 day plan that ended last week and will provide that narrative to the board. Simultaneously, our partners have been looking at the data around the strategic plan initiatives and those surveys, and that information will come out probably around the end of November,” said LCSD1 Superintendent Dr. Margaret Crespo.
The poll was centered around goals that should be considered in the strategic plan, as well as identifying what issues face LSCD1. Items like technology, graduation rates, and community transparency all featured in the survey.
A parent, staff, or student survey was previously sent out, leaving the current survey focused on the community.
This data will be collected and used to make sure LCSD1 is improving in every aspect.
Crespo said, “our strategic plan as we move forward is really a look at what are we doing well, what’re areas of opportunity and how do we plan on measuring those outcomes as we get to them? If we’re not making the right out comes, why not and how do we improve?”
The new strategic plan currently has an aim to be put in place around early spring.
