CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming Community Foundation will host a conference full of resources to help Wyoming non-profits.

Vickery Hall, the Donor Relations Director, said fundraising during a pandemic is one topic that will be covered. “We always provide a base of fundraising information for board members who haven’t done it before. That resource will be there but we will definitely talk about fundraising during the age of COVID and what rules have been broken plus what’s changed,” Hall said.

This conference will be at the Ramkota Hotel in Casper on May 17 and 18. Registration is open now for nonprofits statewide. Nonprofit employees, board members and volunteers are welcome to attend. There will be national speakers providing important information. Hall said small Wyoming non-profits might not get the chance to learn from these speakers without this conference. Hall adds the Wyoming Community Foundation’s goal is to make nonprofits thrive. “Sessions will be grant writing, finances, board development and governance. There will also be some sessions to help with burnout,” Hall said.

Hall adds they are still looking to fill one more spot for a speaker.
