CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - V.A. Health Care Services is trying to improve its processes and is asking for veterans’ help.

“It’s going to allow Veterans to get in contact with the V.A. and talk about how to navigate what for some can be a pretty onerous endeavor we’re more than happy to do that,” said Tim Sheppard, Executive Director for the Wyoming Veterans’ Commission.

The Wyoming veterans commission is hosting a forum to gather veterans to discuss V.A. health care.

This informational is happening Thursday from 5:30 until 6:30 at the Laramie county library.

This event is to help veterans navigate the health system to get the services they need. Benefits include medical services, mental health care and more.

“It’s the V.A.- reaching out to veterans to understand, what is it. One to explain to them how to use the system, but two to understand what’s difficult? And then how can we look for better solutions for the future,” said Tim Sheppard, Executive Director for the Wyoming Veterans’ Commission.
