Comfortable and Cool Weekend
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Clouds and showers are continuing throughout the beginning of this weekend. This system will keep pushing through the state towards the East. This afternoon, showers are taking place heavily in the center of Wyoming and in the northeastern corner. Eventually, as the system keeps rotating, a few straggling shower will reach the southeastern corner.
Overnight, a few left over showers may reach the southeastern corner. A few snow flakes will stick around the south and central border of Wyoming. By tomorrow, breezy conditions will continue and skies will be partly cloudy as the rest of the clouds from this system keep pushing East. Tomorrow evening and overnight, the rest of the clouds will clear out and wind speeds will be breezy. Monday morning, more clouds will enter into Wyoming from the northwestern corner.
Smoke is light this weekend, with help from all of the showers and cloud coverage this past week. Going into Monday morning, most of Wyoming will be clear of the smoky conditions.
High temperatures today are comfortable but cooler than the beginning of this week. Today’s high temperatures were in the 40s in the northwestern corner, 50s across the state from the southwestern to northeastern corner, and 60s in the southeastern corner. Tonight, temperatures are going to drop into a range from the 20s to the 40s. Tomorrow, high temperatures will look much like today’s. Most of the state will see high temperatures in the 50s and 60s tomorrow.
