CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Visit Casper Business Challenge saw over 27 applications this year. The challenge, funded by the CARES Act, is the new way to help grow the visitor economy.

Earlier this week, five interviewed thirteen of those businesses. This year’s finalist include C Bracket Horse Barn, Turn on the Dark Entertainment, Old Town Family Fun, Alcova Resort, and Barbarian Roasters. These five businesses will be working with 307 Impact before the final interviews.

“There’s so many different ideas and ways that we can grow tourism. So we have to have a strong entrepreneurial spirit in Natrona County. That’s been really neat to say how do we incubate those businesses, drive some lift, and create something visitors would be interested in,” said Brook Kaufman.

The final interviews will be held in November 12th.
