CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Release) - Since the start of early voting on Sept. 17, a total of 719 voters have cast their ballots early in the atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex at 309 W 20th St.  Early voting continues through Nov. 1, open weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the exception of holidays.

The County Clerk’s office has mailed out 2014 absentee ballots to registered voters who have requested them.  Voters who wish to vote at home by absentee ballot may request one by calling the Clerk’s election office at 633-4242 or by emailing , subject (Absentee and name of voter), and providing their name, residence and mailing address, and date of birth.

Voters may view or print the sample ballot online at .

Persons who are not yet registered to vote may do so in the Laramie County Governmental Complex atrium or at the polls on Nov. 2.

Voters are reminded to present acceptable identification at the polls when voting early or on Election Day.  Accepted documents include:  driver’s license, Wyoming or other state identification card, valid U.S. passport, U.S. military card, valid Medicare or Medicaid card, student ID from University of Wyoming, Wyoming community college or public school.

Laramie County has 45,175 registered voters.
