Crav-A-bowl celebrates grand opening
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Downtown Casper said hello to a new business on Thursday afternoon at their grand opening. Crav-A-bowl was a well known food truck but will now be serving Casper in a different way. Initially, plans were in place for Crav-A-bowl to open at a different location in June. When that fell through, Darbi Westman, the owner, decided to try something all Casper residents tend to enjoy.
“I decided to go the food truck route and start with just the acai bowls and get that going to see kind of how Casper took onto us. Everyone really enjoyed it and everyone really enjoys the healthy alternatives,” said Westman.
Crav-A-bowl serves acai bowls, cold press juices, and poke bowls. Westman hopes this allows residents to have a new, unique dining option that Casper has never seen before. After a soft opening earlier this week, the Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the doors to the new location. Westman says as a Casper native, she is glad to be bale to give back to her house and be in the heart of Casper.
“I really really just wanted to be a part of our community with all of our businesses and this building came available and I was on it as fast as I could be. I knew that it would be the perfect location,” said Westman.
Crav-A-bowl is located on the corner of 2nd Street and Wolcott Street.
