CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Today has been an absolutely beautiful day outside. There has been so much direct sunlight shining down upon Wyoming! The skies have also been so clear today, which has allowed for all of the sun to reach the surface. There are a couple of light clouds along the southern border with a few light showers, but those have mostly stayed in Colorado.

As this weekend continues, it is going to remain being amazing! Tonight, the skies are going to remain clear of any cloud coverage. Tomorrow, wind speeds are expected to pick up. So even though it will be a little breezy, it will still be a gorgeous day to enjoy the outdoors. By tomorrow night, the wind speeds will calm back down and the clouds will remain cleared out.

Smoke is staying fairly light this weekend. Tomorrow afternoon, smoke will be mostly in the southern half of Wyoming. Though the smoke is staying on the lighter end of the spectrum, the southern half of the state will experience some smoky conditions compared to a clear smoke day.

Temperatures are remaining quite comfortable this weekend. These temperatures are definitely pushing in the direction of getting closer to the Fall feel. High temperatures today were in the 60s and 70s. Tonight, low temperatures will cool off into the 30s and 40s. It will be cool, so maybe take a blanket with you to start gaze since there are clear skies tonight. Tomorrow, temperatures will remain in the 60s and 70s.
