CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The new executive director for Mimi’s House, Dave Rollins, is excited to be here and to help this organization grow. Rollins has worked at the local non-profit for about a month.

Where are you from?

“I’m from Idaho and I’ve worked in juvenile corrections there for over 31 years so I’m well versed into working with at risk youth,” Rollins said.

Mimi’s House teaches kids life lessons. What do you personally want to teach them?

“I’m into gardening so I’d love to see them get a master gardener certificate and donate some time to a community garden,” Rollins said.

What do you hope to do in the future as executive director?

“I’d love to bring in some community volunteers like the foster grandparents. Sometimes children hen they don’t relate well with other people they relate with grandma or grandpa and I like to see that in the near future,” Rollins said.
