CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The only thing that makes a rivalry more fun is when there is a trophy on the line. Kelly Walsh and Natrona County faced off Tuesday on the tennis courts after playing one another in volleyball last week.

This time, the champion would take home the Golden Racket.

Festivities began by honoring each of the school’s seniors, and the teams looked across at one another as matchups were declared one by one.

The matchup that drew the most eyeballs early was the number one girl’s singles match.

Natrona County’s Theresa Trvajova, a former Wyoming News Now Prep Athlete of the Week, and Kelly Walsh’s Finley Klinger were on fire. They traded winners via vicious backhands and ferocious forehands with their fist pumps after each triumph.

It was the Trojans’ Klinger who would have the final celebration though. After dropping the first set, Klinger stormed back to take the final two sets and the match.
