CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A Casper restaurant is paying tribute to the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks throughout the month of September.

Hamburger Stand is proudly displaying a table honoring those who passed 20 years ago. One manager says he got the idea from other places honoring the 13 Americans who lost their lives last month. Hamburger Stand says this display combine the past and the present and reminds those visiting the restaurant to never forget the country’s history.

“I was only nine months old so I might not remember anything, but I remember that was a tragic time for people,” said Izak Triplett, a manager at Hamburger Stand.

Triplett says he hopes this display inspires those younger than him to continue to honor the legacies of those Americans.
