CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming Rescue Mission is celebrating Labor Day in Casper. The mission served over 120 people for the holiday.

Over 1,400 volunteers serve this organization each year. The residents enjoyed a special lunch, and during the evening, they Nazarene Church sponsored a barbeque.

The mission strives to make each holiday special for those spending time there.

“It’s so touching. I mean the fact that Wyoming Rescue Missions exists. I mean, it’s really a total miracle. It’s an expression of the amazing care and compassion of Casper and people from around the state coming together,” said Brad Hopkins, the executive director of the Wyoming Rescue Mission.

The Wyoming Rescue Mission is thankful for all the volunteers that makes these special celebrations possible.
