As a result of the investigation Jose C. Romero, a 62-year-old Laramie resident was arrested and charged with Burglary (WS 6-3-301) and two additional misdemeanor charges. Bond has been set at $6,000.00.(Laramie Police Department)

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - On August 21, 2021 at approximately 2:00p.m. Laramie Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary to a residence in the 100 block of West Fremont.

As a result of the investigation Jose C. Romero, a 62-year-old Laramie resident was arrested and charged with Burglary (WS 6-3-301) and two additional misdemeanor charges. Bond has been set at $6,000.00.

Wyoming Statute 6-3-301 states a person is guilty of burglary if, he enters or remains in a building, occupied structure or vehicle, or separately secured or occupied portion thereof, with intent to commit theft or a felony therein.

Burglary is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten (10) years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), or both

All of these charges are merely accusations and the subject is considered innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
