CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - You may be noticing more traffic in Casper lately which means students are back in town for the fall semester at Casper College.

Staff says both faculty and staff are excited to be back on campus. Although the campus remained open last year, staff says this year has the normalcy they missed.

Last fall, athletics were postponed to spring due to the pandemic, so this year, many students are excited to have that part of their college experience back.

Enrollment numbers for the first day of class remain consistent with the last two years.

“We really do expect to have a very even-keeled enrollment transfer this fall as we did the last two fall semesters. So very exciting because nationally, community college enrollment has gone down, and we’ve been fortunate to maintain our levels here at Casper College,” said Chris Lorenzen, the Director of Public Relations for Casper College.

Casper College serves over 3,500 students.
